For direct assistance, contact one of the technicians at the phone numbers or email addresses shown here. The best time to reach us during the day, Monday through Friday (except holidays), is between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. There is usually a technician on site until 5:00 p.m., although he might be busy in the main SIDES building.

If you're having problems, please don't hesitate to contact us. In an effort to minimize your down time, we prefer to help you out sooner rather than later! Some problems we can resolve successfully over the phone; others require direct work on the computer, and in that event, you'll be asked to bring the unit in for quick repair or replacement.

Many problems relate to spyware and viruses, so you should keep in mind that any time you're surfing the web you're likely to pick up these nasties. The computers we loan to students are equipped with anti-spyware and anti-virus programs. For them to be effective, it's necessary for you to keep them up-to-date. If you're not sure how to do this, contact us and we'll be happy to help you out.
