SIDES is pleased to host a graduation ceremony for our graduating students at the end of each school year. Here are a few questions and answers about the graduation ceremony, along with a photo of last year's group of graduates.

What does the program consist of?

Our grad is a very small but personal program. We usually have each student's teacher or counselor/advisor say a few words as the certificates are presented. We also have guest speakers, entertainment by some of our grads, candid photos, and a small reception afterwards.

How many students are in the grad class?

How many students are in the grad class? We usually have about 100 students graduate each year, and a small group chooses to attend the ceremony.

Yes, our graduation ceremony is open to all of our students, including school-age and adult students.

How many guests am I allowed to bring?

You can bring as many family members and friends as you wish to the grad ceremony.

What should I wear to the graduation ceremony?

What should I wear to the graduation ceremony?
You can wear formal, semi-formal, or casual clothing. SIDES will supply graduation robes, but please feel free to wear what you wish, as it is YOUR night!

What about photographs?

What about photographs?
Although we don’t have formal photographs, we do take individual photos of each of our grads, plus group and candid photos. All of these photos are copied to a CD for our students, which we mail to them after the ceremony.

No; SIDES covers the cost of the entire evening.
