Description

Fine Arts 11 is a course on art history and theory, concentrating on painting and music. In Fine Arts 11A, students begin by looking at the elements and design principles behind some of the great paintings and compositions of the past few hundred years, then learn how to use those principles to find meaning in a work of art.

Summary

There are four major assignmenst or tasks. There are a number of shorter activities for each unit. Students are required to submit responses for all activities and tasks to pass the course. Most of the activities may be responded to in one or two sentences or a short paragraph. The tasks will take more time to complete and the responses should be more substantive. Tasks will be assigned a specific grade. Activities are graded on percent completed.
