Description
German 11 is the second part of a three year program of German Language studies.
It follows the new proficiency levels of the European Commission that are recognized worldwide.
When you have completed German 11 successfully, you have reached the A2 Proficiency Level, and you will be able to communicate in German in simple and routine tasks and exchange information on familiar routine matters. In German 11 you will continue to master your ability in reading and listening comprehension, as well as written and oral communication. After the successful completion of German 11, you would also able to take the German Language Proficiency Exam Level A2 (DSD - A2) offered by the German Government. This exam is offered once a year and it can be taken at SIDES. Examination parts include reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written composition as well as oral communication. This exam provides career advantages when applying for jobs. You will be able to receive 4 external credentials after successfully completing this exam.
TELL ME MORE is a comprehensive foreign language learning method that combines the richness and quality of its contents with the flexibility and interactive features of multimedia. Through different types of activities, the method aims to develop the essential skills needed to communicate: reading and listening, semi-guided speaking and writing, vocabulary, and grammar. TELL ME MORE covers, in an authentic learning context, the grammatical, lexical, phonetic, and conjugation notions necessary to develop these skills.
With TELL ME MORE, the student is put in an authentic learning context thanks to different dialogues and videos that illustrate scenes from daily life. The method emphasizes quick familiarization with different sounds specific to the language using recordings of different native speakers.
