German 11 is the second part of a three year program of German Language studies.
You will be using a German Language program developed in Germany by Deutsche Welle. Course contents and course structure have been developed in accordance with the Common European Framework and have taken the specifications for the language proficiency levels A1, A2 and B1 into consideration. Authentic videos, slideshows and audio texts convey a vibrant picture of life in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Vocabulary and grammar are introduced in an activity-oriented manner and consolidated in a variety of exercises.
When you have completed German 11 successfully, you have reached the A2 Proficiency Level, and you will be able to communicate in German in simple and routine tasks and exchange information on familiar routine matters. In German 11 you will continue to master your ability in reading and listening comprehension, as well as written and oral communication. After the successful completion of German 11, you would also able to take the German Language Proficiency Exam Level A2 (DSD ZDP- A2) offered by the German Government. This exam is offered once a year and it can be taken at SIDES. Examination parts include reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written composition as well as oral communication. This exam provides career advantages when applying for jobs. You will be able to receive 4 external credentials after successfully completing this exam.
