Description
German 12 is the third part of a three year program of German Language studies.
It follows the new proficiency levels of the European Commission that are recognized worldwide.
When you have completed German 12 successfully, you have reached the B1 Proficiency Level. You will be able to produce simple connected text on familiar topics, describe dreams and hopes, and you can give reasons and explanations for plans and opinions. In German 12 you will continue to master your ability in reading and listening comprehension, as well as written and oral communication. In addition, you would also able to take the German Language Proficiency Exam Level B1 (DSD - I) offered by the German Government. This exam is offered once a year and it can be taken at an accredited DSD school. Examination parts include reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written composition, as well as oral communication. This exam provides proof of German language proficiency required for admission to many post-secondary institutions such as Studienkollegs in Germany. You will be able to receive 4 external credentials after successfully completing this exam.
With TELL ME MORE, the student is put in an authentic learning context thanks to different dialogues and videos that illustrate scenes from daily life. The method emphasizes quick familiarization with different sounds specific to the language using recordings of different native speakers.
