Fine Arts 11B is a course on art history and theory, concentrating on painting and music. The course follows up on the previous course by comparing how artists used their art to tell the same stories in different ways, and then digs more deeply into art history as a series of different styles and ideas.

There are a number of shorter activities for each unit. Students are required to submit responses for all activities and tasks to pass this course. Most of the activities may be responded to in one or two sentences or a short paragraph. The tasks will take more time to complete and the responses should be more substantive. Tasks will be assigned a specific grade. Activities are graded on percent completed
