Student Learning Plan Information
The Student Learning Plan is the legal document that travels with you from grade to grade until you leave high school, when you will receive it for your own. This document includes:
· your Personal, Educational, and Career Support Networks;
· your Personal Inventory which includes your interest, values, strengths, skills, accomplishments, community experience, and a record of certificates, licenses, and awards;
· Course Planning which includes a record of your credits earned towards graduation and a record of your courses elected for the upcoming year(s); and
· your Personal, Education, and Career Goals -- this includes both short term and long term goals along with a record of their current status (new, revised, accomplished).
One of the first things you will do in CaPP 10 is to update (or set up) your own Student Learning Plan. At times you will be asked to do a specific activity in your SLP, but it is your responsibility to keep it current and up to date, so plan on looking at it and making necessary changes every month or 6 weeks. Without an up-to-date Student Learning Plan you cannot receive a grade for this course.
